INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 270 grams

Rice flour - 1 tablespoon

Curd - 240 grams

Ginger - 2 teaspoons

Curry leaves - 1 teaspoon

Green chili - 2 teaspoons

Coriander - 15 grams

Sugar - 2 teaspoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Water - 320 milliliters

Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 270 grams all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon rice flour, 240 grams curd, 2 teaspoons ginger, 1 teaspoon curry leaves, 2 teaspoons green chili, 15 grams coriander, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 320 milliliters water and whisk it well.

2. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and mix it well.

3. Rest the mixture for 3 hours.

4. Take a scoop of mixture and drop it in hot oil.

5. Deep fry these till it turns golden brown and crispy.

6. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

7. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
