Homemade Kulcha
Servings - 3 - 4

 

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Yeast - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Water - 250 milliliters
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Dry fenugreek leaves - to taste

 

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon butter, 250 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
2. Add 1 teaspoon oil and knead the dough again to make it smooth and soft.
3. Rest the dough for 20 minutes.
4. Take a medium size ball from the dough. (see video)
5. Roll the ball into small circle using a rolling pin.
6. Spread some dry fenugreek leaves on it and roll it again.
7. Place them on a baking tray.
8. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
9. Serve hot kulcha with nutri.
