Macaroni Paratha

INGREDIENTS
Water - 1 litre
Macaroni - 180 grams
Oil - 2 teaspoons
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Wheat flour - 300 grams
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon (divided )
Boiled potatoes - 200 grams
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder -1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Oil

 

PREPARATION


1. Boil 1 litre water in a deep pan, add 180 grams macaroni, 2 tablespoons oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and boil until macaroni begins to thicken.
2. In a mixing bowl add 300 grams wheat flour, 2 tablespoons oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and knead into a smooth soft dough.
3. In a mixing bowl add 200 grams potatoes, boiled macaroni, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1 tablespoon green chili, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder, 2 tablespoons coriander and mix it well.
4. Take a medium size ball from the dough.
5. Roll the ball into small circle.
6. Place few tablespoons of the macaroni stuffing on the dough circle. Seal the edges completely so that potato stuffing does not come out.
7. Flatten the dough circle, sprinkle a little flour and roll them with a roller.
8. Heat a pan, place paratha on it and cook on moderate heat for three minutes. Turn it and pour a half tablespoon of oil, spread it on paratha and shallow fry over low heat
9. Turn it and again pour half a tablespoon of oil other side. Cook on low heat till golden brown.
10. Serve hot.
