INGREDIENTS
(For Sweet & Sour Sauce)
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Tamarind pulp - 1 tablespoon
Brown sugar - 45 grams
Water - 2 tablespoons
(Rest of the Ingredients)
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Tofu cubes - 390 grams
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Bell pepper - 90 grams
Cabbage - 270 grams
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
(For Sweet & Sour Sauce)
1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix it well. Keep aside.
(Rest of the Preparation)
1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 390 grams tofu cubes and fry till it turns golden brown in color.
2. Drain it on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
3. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet, add 1 tablespoon ginger and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
4. Add 90 grams bell pepper, 270 grams cabbage and mix it well. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.
5. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and mix it well.
6. Now, add the prepared sweet & sour sauce and mix it again.
7. Add the fried tofu in it and mix well. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
8. Garnish with coriander.
9. Serve hot with rice.
