Aloo Ka Halwa

INGREDIENTS

Ghee - 100 grams

Boiled mashed potatoes - 550 grams

Milk - 220 milliliters

Sugar - 140 grams

Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Almonds - 15 grams

Cashews - 15 grams

Almonds - for garnishing

Cashews - for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. Heat 100 grams ghee in a pan, add 550 grams boiled mashed potatoes and cook till it turns golden brown in color.

2. Cook it for about 7 - 8 minutes.

3. Now, add 220 milliliters milk, 140 grams sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.

4. Keep stirring the halwa continuously for 5 - 7 minutes or till the sugar is fully dissolved.

5. Add 15 grams almonds, 15 grams cashews and mix it well.

6. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes.

7. Garnish with almonds and cashews.

8. Serve hot.
