INGREDIENTS
Water - 500 milliliters
Onions - 100 grams
Tomato - 75 grams
Dried figs - 75 grams
Yogurt - 230 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 50 milliliters
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Bay leaf - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Green peas - 225 grams
Water - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. Heat 500 milliliters water in a pot, add 100 grams onion, 75 grams tomato and stir well.
2. Simmer for 5 minutes, turn off the heat.
3. Transfer this into a blender and blend it into a smooth puree. Keep aside.
4. In a blender, add 75 grams dried figs, 230 grams yogurt, 1 tablespoon green chili, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 50 milliliters water and blend it well. Keep aside.
5. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pot, add 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
6. Add 225 grams green peas and stir well.
7. Now, add the tomato and dried figs paste in it and mix it well.
8. Add 2 tablespoons water, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well. Bring it a boil.
9. Now, add 1 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
10. Serve hot with naan, roti or rice.
