Homemade Garam Masala
INGREDIENTS
Bay leaves - 10
Cinnamon sticks - 45 grams
Dry ginger - 1 inch
Black cardamom - 10
Green cardamom - 2 tablespoons
Cloves - 2 tablespoons
Black pepper - 1 1/4 teaspoons
Cumin - 30 grams
Coriander seeds - 35 grams
Nutmeg - 1
PREPARATION
1. Spread whole spices on a plate or thali.
2. Keep in sun for 2 - 3 days.
3. Add all the ingredients in the blender and grind to fine powder.
4. Store garam masala powder in an air-tight container or jar.
