INGREDIENTS

Almonds - 200 grams

Water - 350 milliliters

Pistachios - 200 grams

Sugar - 600 grams

Water - 250 milliliters

Milk powder - 80 grams

Organic food color - 1 teaspoon

Ghee - 90 grams

Cardamom Powder - 1 teaspoon

Pistachios - for garnish

Almonds - for garnish

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams almonds, 350 milliliters water and soak for 3 - 4 hours.
  2. Now, transfer it to a blender and blend it a smooth powder.
  3. Then, take  200 grams pistachios and blend it a smooth powder.
  4. In a heavy skillet, add 600 grams sugar, 250 milliliters water and mix it well.
  5. Now, add blended pistachios powder, blended almonds powder, 80 grams milk powder and mix it well .
  6. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Then, add 1 teaspoon organic food color and mix it.
  8. Add 90 grams ghee, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder and cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer this into a tray and spread it evenly.   
  10. Garnish with pistachios and almonds.
  11. Rest for 4 - 6 hours.
  12. Now, cut it into pieces.
  13. Serve.
