Instant Khoa Jalebi

INGREDIENTS

Ghee - 30 grams

Milk - 125 milliliters

Milk powder - 250 grams

All purpose flour - 80 grams

Milk - 200 milliliters

Sugar - 300 grams

Water - 130 milliliters

Saffron - 1/4 teaspoon

Ghee - for frying

 

PREPARATION

1. Heat 30 grams ghee in a pan, add 125 milliliters milk and mix it well.

2. Then, add 250 grams milk powder and mix it well.

3. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat or until the mixture becomes like a dough.

4. Remove it from heat and transfer this into a blender.

5. Add 80 grams all purpose flour, prepared khoa, 200 milliliters milk and blend it into a mixture.

6. Rest the batter for 1 hour.

7. Take a pan, add 300 grams sugar, 130 milliliters water and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.

8. Bring it to a boil.

9. Add 1/4 teaspoon saffron and mix it well.

10. Bring it to a boil again. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

11. Take a piping bag and fill it with the prepared batter.

12. Heat sufficient ghee in a skillet and squeeze the piping bag over the ghee to make a concentric circles.

13. Fry until it turns golden brown and crispy.

14. Add the fried jalebi into the prepared sugar syrup.

15. Soak for 8 - 10 minutes.

16. Garnish with almonds.

17. Serve.
