Mocha French Toast Bake

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 300 grams
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Unsalted butter - 85 grams
Milk - 150 milliliters
Milk - 150 milliliters
Eggs - 2
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Coffee powder - 1 tablespoon
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Dark chocolate - 200 grams
Whipped cream - for garnishing
Chocolate sauce - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 85 grams unsalted butter and mix it well.
2. Add 150 milliliters water and knead it into a dough.
3. Rest the dough for 1 hour.
4. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
5. Cut it into 4 equal parts.
6. Do the same with rest of the dough. Keep aside.
7. In a jug, add 150 milliliters milk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and mix it well.
8. Add 1 tablespoon coffee powder and mix it well.
9. Transfer this into a bowl, add the prepared dough in it and mix it well.
10. Take a baking dish and brush it with oil.
11. Add the prepared mixture in it halfway.
12. Then, add 200 grams dark chocolate on it.
13. Now, add the remaining mixture on it.
14. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for about 30 minutes.
15. Remove it from oven. Cut it into pieces.
16. Place this on a serving plate.
17. Top with whipped cream.
18. Drizzle some chocolate sauce on it.
19. Serve.
