Snowman Biscuits

INGREDIENTS


Butter - 125 grams

Powdered sugar - 125 grams

Egg - 1

Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

All purpose flour - 250 grams

Fondant

Edible glue

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 125 grams butter, 125 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.

2. Add 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix it well.

3. Then, add 250 grams all purpose flour and whisk it again to make a smooth soft dough.

4. Place it on a plastic wrap and cover with it.

5. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

6. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of around 0.5cm. Use a cookie cutter to cut out rounds. 

7. Place it on a baking tray.

8. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.

9. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool.

10. To decorate, roll out the white fondant icing on a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar. Cut out circles using the cookie cutter, then use a edible glue to stick a fondant round on each biscuit.

11. Use different colors of fondant to decorate the snowman. (See Video)

12. Serve or store in an airtight container.
