INGREDIENTS
Refined flour - 750 grams
Yeast paste - 20 milliliters
Butter - 7 tablespoons, divided
Eggs - 2
Sugar powder - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 185 milliliters
Water - 80 milliliters
Apple - 1
Brown sugar - 70 grams
Apple pie spice - 1 teaspoon
Walnuts - to taste
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 750 grams refined flour, 20 milliliters yeast paste, 4 tablespoons butter, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 185 milliliters of milk and 80 milliliters of water. Bring the mixture together and knead into a smooth soft dough.
2. Keep it aside for 15 - 20 minutes.
3. Take an apple, cut it into pieces and place them into a bowl. Add 3 tablespoons butter and mix it well.
4. Take a another bowl add 70 grams of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon apple pie spice and mix it well.
5. Roll the dough into circle and cut into triangles. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture and walnuts on top of it.
6. Roll a slice of apple in triangle, starting with the widest end. Roll up and brush with butter, sprinkle some brown sugar mixture on top of it.
7. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes until crust is golden brown.
8. Serve hot and enjoy.
