INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 250 grams

Ghee - 80 milliliters

Water - 80 milliliters

Sugar - 175 grams

Water - 80 milliliters

Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams all purpose flour, 80 milliliters ghee and mix it well.
  2. Add 80 milliliters water and knead it into a dough.
  3. Rest the dough for 30 minutes.
  4. Take a pan, add 175 grams sugar, 80 milliliters water and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  5. Bring it to a boil.
  6. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
  7. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
  8. Prick it with the help of a fork.
  9. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove it from oil and dip it in the prepared sugar syrup.
  11. Soak for about 5 - 7 minutes.
  12. Serve.
