INGREDIENTS

Refined Flour - 125 grams

Semolina - 15 grams

Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon

Fennel seeds - 1 tablespoon

Cardamom seeds - 1 teaspoon

Yogurt - 40 grams

Khoa - 60 grams

Water - 275 milliliters - divided 

Sugar - 300 grams

Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Ghee - 500 milliliters

Raisin - for garnishing

Almonds - for garnishing

PREPARATION

Malpua

1. Take a bowl and add 125 grams refined flour, 15 grams semolina, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon fennel seeds, 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds, 40 grams yogurt, 60 grams

khoa and 125 milliliters of water. Mix the mixture well.

2. Heat 500 milliliters of ghee in a pan. Pour a little batter to form a pancake. Pour hot ghee over it and turn over till golden brown in color.

3. When both sides are properly done, drain and immerse in the sugar syrup.

4. Garnish with raisin and almonds.

5. Serve hot and enjoy.

Sugar Syrup 

1. Add 300 grams sugar and 150 milliliters of water in a heavy skillet. 

2. Boil it for 5-10 minutes. Then add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder and stir. 

3. Place aside the syrup and let it cool.
