Spooky Scary Skeleton Cupcake

INGREDIENTS
Oil - 60 milliliters
Yogurt - 60 grams
Vanilla essence - 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon
Powdered sugar - 90 grams
All purpose flour - 155 grams
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Coca powder - 20 grams
Milk - 80 milliliters
Unsalted butter - 150 grams
Powdered sugar - 100 grams
Vanilla essence - 1/2 teaspoon
Black chocolate ganache - 150 grams
Red glaze - 2 tablespoons
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 60 milliliters oil, 60 grams yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence, and 1/2 teaspoon vinegar. Whisk well until smooth.
2. Add 90 grams powdered sugar and whisk again until creamy.
3. Then ad 55 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 20 grams cocoa powder. Whisk until well combined.
4. Add 80 milliliters milk and whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
5. Pour the batter into cupcake moulds placed on a baking tray. Insert small rolled aluminium foil strips along the sides of each mould to shape the cupcakes like skeletons (see video).
6. Preheat the oven to 356°F/180°C and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes.
7. In a bowl, add 150 grams unsalted butter, 100 grams powdered sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence. Whisk well until smooth and fluffy. Transfer to a piping bag.
8. Frost the cooled cupcakes, then place them upside down on butter paper and refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
9. Once set, use black chocolate ganache to make skeleton eyes, nose, and lips. Add a little red glaze under the eyes to create a spooky, “bloody” effect. (see video).
