INGREDIENTS


Shanghai Momos

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 2 teaspoons
Water - 180 milliliters
Minced mutton - 380 grams
Prawns - 150 grams
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Spring onions - 80 grams
Powdered sugar - 2 teaspoons
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
Black vinegar - 50 milliliters
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Red chili - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Spring onions - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons oil and mix it well.
2. Add 180 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
3. Rest for 30 minutes.
4. In a mixing bowl, add 380 grams minced mutton, 150 grams prawns, 1 tablespoon ginger, 80 grams spring onions, 2 teaspoons powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and mix it well.
5. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
6. Add the prepared mixture on it.
7. Shape it into momos. (See Video)
8. Place the momos in a steamer and steam for 8 - 10 minutes.
9. Remove it from the steamer.
10. In a bowl, add 50 milliliters black vinegar, 1 tablespoon ginger, 1 1/2 tablespoons red chili and mix it well.
11. Garnish with spring onions.
12. Serve with prepared sauce.

Spinach Corn & Cheese Momos

All purpose flour - 155 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 90 milliliters
Spinach - 70 grams
Olive oil - 1 teaspoon
Garlic - 1 teaspoon
Sweet corn - 80 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Mixed herbs - 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
Processed cheese - to taste
