Chicken Chilli Garlic Momos

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
(For Dough)

All purpose flour - 200 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil - 15 milliliters
Water - 100 milliliters

(For Chilli Sauce)
Dry red chili - 10 - 12
Water - 250 milliliters
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

(For Stuffing)
Oil - 15 milliliters
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Onions - 155 grams
Minced chicken - 500 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
Vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon

(For Momos)
Butter - 30 milliliters
Garlic paste - 2 teaspoons
Chilli garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
Tomato sauce - 50 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 1/4 teaspoon
Vinegar - 1/4 teaspoon

PREPARATION


(For Dough)
1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 15 milliliters oil, 100 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
2. Rest the dough for 30 minutes.

(For Chilli Sauce)
1. In a bowl, add 10 - 12 dry red chili, 250 milliliters water and soak for 30 minutes.
2. Transfer the chillies into a blender, add 1 tablespoon garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vinegar and blend it into a smooth paste.

(For Stuffing)
1. Heat 15 milliliters oil in a pan, add 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste and stir well.
2. Add 155 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
3. Then, add 500 grams minced chicken and mix it well.
4. Cook for 7 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
5. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar and mix it well.
6. Cook until the chicken is cooked through.
7. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

(For Momos)
1. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
2. Cut out a circle from it.
3. Place a spoonful of chicken mixture in the centre and shape into momos. 
4. Place the momos in a steamer and steam for 10 - 12 minutes.
5. Remove it from the steamer.
6. Heat 30 milliliters butter in a pan, add 2 teaspoons garlic paste and stir well.
7. Add 2 tablespoons chilli garlic paste, 50 grams tomato sauce and mix it well.
8. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon vinegar and mix it again.
9. Now, add the cooked momos in it and give it a nice stir.
10. Garnish with spring onions.
11. Serve hot with prepared chilli sauce
