Crispy Fried Chicken

Chicken breast - 500 grams

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Corn flour - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Egg white - 1

Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

All purpose flour - 90 grams

Corn flour - 45 grams

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Oil - 1 teaspoon

Water - 220 milliliters

Oil - for frying

Oil - 30 milliliters

Garlic - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Spring onions - 20 grams

Onions - 55 grams

Green spring onions - 1 tablespoon

Bell pepper - 65 grams

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Ketchup - 2 tablespoons

Red chilis sauce - 1 tablespoon

Schezwan sauce - 2 tablespoons

Soys sauce - 1 teaspoon

Sugar - 1 teaspoon

Corn flour - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Water - 50 milliliters

Spring onions - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. Take a chicken breast and cut it into half.

2. Then, cut it into long strips as shown in the video.

3. Transfer them into a mixing bowl, add 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 tablespoons corn flour,1. Egg white, 1 teaspoon vinegar and mix all the ingredients well.

4. Marinate for 20 minutes.

5. In a mixing bowl, add 90 grams all purpose flour, 45 grams corn flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon oil and mix it well.

6. Add 220 milliliters water and mix it well to make a batter.

7. Now, add the marinated chicken and mix it well.

8. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.

9. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

10. Heat 30 milliliters oil in a skillet, add 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic and stir for 1 - 2 minutes.

11. Then, add 20 grams spring onions, 55 grams onions and fry till translucent.

12. Add 1 tablespoon green spring onions, 65 grams bell pepper and mix it well.

13. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.

14. Add 1/4 teaspoons alt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.

15. Add 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon red chili sauce, 2 tablespoons schezwan sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar and mix it well.

16. In a bowl, add 1 1/2 tablespoons corn flour, 50 milliliters water and mix it well.

17. Pour the mixture into it and mix it well.

18. Now, add the fried chicken in it and give it a nice stir.

19. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.

20. Remove it from heat.

21. Garnish with spring onions.
