Egg Bread Bites

INGREDIENTS
Bread slices

Eggs - 3

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1 teaspoon

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Butter - for shallow frying

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Onions - 110 grams

Bell pepper - 220 grams

Tomato - 80 grams

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1 teaspoon

Boiled eggs - 4

Coriander - 1 tablespoon

 

PREPARATION

  1. Take a bread slice and cut it’s edges. Cut it into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon green chili and whisk it well.
  3. Take the piece of a bread and dip it in the egg mixture properly.
  4. Heat some butter in a pan, add the piece of bread in it and cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
  5. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
  6. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet, add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and stir well.
  7. Then, add 110 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
  8. Now, add 220 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
  9. Cook for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
  10. Add 80 grams tomato and mix it well.
  11. Saute for 5 - 7 minutes o medium heat or until it turns soft and pulpy.
  12. Add 1 teaspoon green chili, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
  13. Then, add 4 boiled eggs in it and mix it well.
  14. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
  15. Add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
  16. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
  17. Remove it from heat.
  18. Take the shallow fried bread and add the prepared egg mixture on top of it.
  19. Garnish with coriander.
  20. Serve hot.
