INGREDIENTS

Chicken - 500 grams

Turmeric - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil - 1 tablespoon

Mustard oil - 120 milliliters

Garlic - 2 tablespoons

Onions - 500 grams

Green chili - 5

Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons

Green chili paste - 1 tablespoon

Tomato - 230 grams

Turmeric - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Yogurt - 140 grams

Coriander - for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams chicken, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon lil and mix it well.

2. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.

3. Heat 120 milliliters mustard oil in a pot, add 2 tablespoons garlic and saute for 2 - 3 minutes or until it turns golden brown.

4. Add 500 grams onions and fry till translucent.

5. Then, add 5 green chili, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and stir for 2 - 3 minutes.

6. Now, add 1 tablespoon green chili paste, 230 grams tomato and saute for 5 - 7 minutes or till the tomatoes get soft and pulpy.

7. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.

8. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon red chili and mix it well.

9. Now, add the marinated chicken in it and give it a nice stir.

10. Cover it with lid and cook for 30 minutes or till the chicken is tender.

11. Add 140 grams yogurt and mix it well.

12. Garnish with coriander.

13. Serve hot.
