Mutton Keema Kachori

INGREDIENTS


All purpose flour - 300 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Ghee - 50 milliliters

Water - 160 milliliters

Oil - 30 milliliters

Garlic - 1 teaspoon

Ginger - 1 teaspoon

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Onions - 120 grams

Mutton keema - 300 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander - 1 tablespoon

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 50 milliliters ghee and mix it well.

2. Add 160 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.

3. Rest for 20 - 25 minutes.

4. Heat 30 milliliters oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon ginger, 1 teaspoon green chili and saute for 1 - 2 minutes on medium heat.

5. Then, add 120 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.

6. Now, add 300 grams mutton keema and mix it well.

7. Cook for 7 - 10 minute son medium heat or until it turns dark brown in color.

8. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.

9. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoons alt, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.

10. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.

11. Now, add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.

12. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

13. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.

14. Add some mixture on it.

15. Roll it into a ball and slightly flatten the ball with the help of your palms to make a kachori. (See Video)

16. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until it turns golden brown and crispy.

17. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

18. Serve hot with chutney.
