Ajwaini Paneer Tikka

INGREDIENTS

Verka dahi - 400 grams

Verka paneer - 250 grams

Carom seeds - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon

Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon

Onions - 60 grams

Bell pepper - 135 grams

Verka ghee - for shallow frying

PREPARATION

1. Take 400 grams verka dahi put it in muslin cloth and squeeze it well.

2. Tie or hang the dahi for 3 - 4 hours. Keep aside.

3. Take 250 grams verka paneer and cut it into slices.

4. In a mixing bowl, add 1 teaspoon carom seeds, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 60 grams onions, 135 grams bell pepper, 250 grams paneer cubes and mix all the ingredients well.

5. Marinate for 2 hours.

6. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes.

7. Skewer the veggies and paneer.

8. Microwave some verka ghee in a bowl for 20 seconds.

9. Take a grill pan and brush it with verka ghee.

10. Put the skewers on it.

11. Shallow fry till it turns golden brown in color from all sides.

12. Serve hot.
