INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 700 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 100 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Paneer - 2 teaspoons
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Water - 150 milliliters
Onions - 100 grams
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Egg wash - 1 tablespoon
Oil - for deep frying
PREPARATION
1. Take a pressure cooker, add 700 grams potatoes, 500 milliliters water and cover it with lid.
2. Cook till you hear 2 whistles.
3. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet, add 1 tablespoon garlic and stir for 1 - 2 minutes.
5. Then, add 100 grams onions and fry till translucent.
6. Add 1 tablespoon green chili and stir well.
7. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
8. Now, add 200 grams paneer and mix it well
9. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
10. Add the boiled mashed potatoes and mix it well.
11. Add 2 tablespoons coriander and mix it again.
12. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
13. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
14. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 150 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
15. Rest the dough for 30 minutes.
16. Dust the floor with flour.
17. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
18. Add the prepared potato mixture on it.
19. Add some onions and coriander on it.
20. Add 1 tablespoon egg wash on it.
21. Cover it from all sides to make a square.
22. Heat sufficient oil in a deep fryer and deep fry this until golden brown and crispy.
23. Serve hot.
