Aloo Tikki (Potato Patties)

Servings - 6

INGREDIENTS

Boiled potatoes - 350 grams

Onions - 60 grams

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon

Curry powder - 1 teaspoon

Corn flour - 125 grams

Green peas - 125 grams

Oil - 2 tablespoons

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 350 grams boiled potatoes, 60 grams onions, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 125 grams corn flour, 125 grams

green peas and mix all the ingredients well.

2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Divide the mixture into equal portions and make ball out of it. Take one ball a time, press lightly, seal the edges if it breaks.

3. Put the tikki gently and carefully on the pan. Cook till bottom side is brown and crispy. Once cooked then flip the tikki using spatula and let it brown other side as well.

4. Once done, drain it on an absorbent paper.

5. Serve hot and enjoy!
