Aloo Tikki Stuffed Pita Sandwich

INGREDIENTS
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 40 grams
Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Green beans - 30 grams
Green peas - 70 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Boiled mashed potatoes - 800 grams
All purpose flour - 100 grams
Corn flour - 30 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 120 milliliters
Bread crumbs - for coating
Oil - for frying
Fresh cream - 200 grams
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Mint - 2 tablespoons
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Onions - 80 grams
Vinegar - 60 milliliters
Pita bread
Lettuce
Tomato slices

PREPARATION


1. In a bowl, add 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon turmeric and mix it well.
2. Heat 40 grams butter in a heavy skillet, add 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon ginger paste and stir well.
3. Then, add 30 grams green beans, 70 grams green peas and mix it well.
4. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
5. Add 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
6. Now, add 800 grams boiled mashed potatoes and mix it well.
7. Add the prepared masala and mix it well.
8. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
9. Remove it from heat and transfer this into a mixing bowl.
10. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a tikki. Keep aside.
11. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams all purpose flour, 30 grams corn flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
12. Add 120 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
13. Dip the prepared tikki in it.
14. Now, roll it in bread crumbs properly.
15. Heat some oil in a skillet and fry these until golden brown and crispy from all sides.
16. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
17. In a bowl, add 80 grams onions, 60 milliliters vinegar and soak for 2 hours.
18. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams fresh cream, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 tablespoons mint, 2 tablespoons coriander, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
19. Take a pita bread and cut it into half to make a pocket for stuffing. (See Video)
20. Place a lettuce inside it.
21. Then, place a tikki in it.
22. Spread the prepared sauce on tikki.
23. Place the soaked onion slice and tomato slice on it.
24. Serve.
