Amritsari Fish Fry

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Fish - 600 grams

Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Red chili - 1 tablespoons

Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon

Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Vinegar - 110 milliliters

Gram flour - 110 grams

Carom seeds - 1 teaspoon

Egg - 1

Yogurt - 130 grams

Rice flour - 2 tablespoons

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 600 grams fish, 1 tablespoon red chili, 1 tablespoon ginger paste, 1 tablespoon garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it well.

2. Marinate for 20 minutes.

3. Add 110 milliliters vinegar, 110 grams gram flour, 1 teaspoon carom seeds, 1 egg, 130 grams yogurt, 2 tablespoons rice flour and mix all the ingredients well.

4. Marinate again for 15 minutes.

5. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.

6. Serve hot.
