Baked Veggie Toast

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Butter - 2 tablespoons

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

All purpose flour - 1 tablespoon

Milk - 200 milliliters

Sweet corn - 70 grams

Broccoli - 45 grams

Carrot - 45 grams

Green beans - 45 grams

Mushroom - 30 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Italian seasoning - 1/2 teaspoon

Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon

Bread slices - 7 - 8

Butter - to taste

Pizza sauce - to taste

Mozzarella cheese - to taste

PREPARATION

1. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a pan, add 1 tablespoon garlic and saute for a minute.

2. Add 1 tablespoon all purpose flour and mix it well.

3. Then, add 200 milliliters milk and stir well.

4. Bring it to a boil.

5. Now, add 70 grams sweet corn, 45 grams broccoli, 45 grams carrot, 45 grams green beans, 30 grams mushroom and mix it well.

6. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes and mix it well.

7. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.

8. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and keep aside.

9. Take a bread slice and cut a circle from it.

10. Take a another bread slice and spread butter on it.

11. Place the first bread slice on top of it.

12. Spread some pizza sauce in it.

13. Fill the bread with prepared mixture.

14. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of it.

15. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

16. Serve hot with ketchup.
