Bang Bang Broccoli

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Mayonnaise - 100 grams

Chili paste - 2 tablespoons

Agave nectar - 1 tablespoon

Almond milk - 220 milliliters

Apple cider vinegar - 1 teaspoon

All purpose flour - 90 grams

Corn starch - 70 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Hot sauce - 2 teaspoons

Broccoli - 260 grams

Bread crumbs - for coating

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons chili paste, 1 tablespoon agave nectar and mix it well. Keep aside.

2. In a jug, add 220 milliliters almond milk, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar and stir well.

3. Rest the mixture for 4 - 5 minutes.

4. In mixing bowl, add 90 grams all purpose flour, 70 grams corn starch, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons hot sauce and the almond milk mixture.

5. Mix it well to make a thick batter.

6. Take a broccoli head dip it in milk mixture and roll it in bread crumbs.

7. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.

8. Serve hot with the prepared sauce.
