INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 200 grams
Gram flour - 60 grams
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Rice flour - 1 tablespoon
Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1//2 teaspoon
Hot pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 3 tablespoons
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 150 milliliters
Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION


1. Wash and peel the potatoes, slice it into thin slices. Transfer it to a bowl.
2. In a mixing bowl, ad 60 grams gram flour, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1 tablespoon rice flour, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper powder, 3 tablespoons coriander, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 150 milliliters water and whisk well to make a thick batter.
3. Take a potato slice and dip it in the batter.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and fry until golden brown and crispy from both sides. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
