Water - 1 litre
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Baby potatoes - 300 grams
Yellow mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Coconut - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Dry red chili - 1
Green chili - 1/2 tablespoon
Oil - 3 teaspoons
Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Nigella seeds - 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon
Dry red chili - 1
Yogurt - 2 teaspoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
1. In a deep pan, add 1 litre water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 300 grams baby potatoes and boil for 10 - 15 minutes.
2. In blender, add, 1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon coconut, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 dry red chili, 1/2 tablespoon green chili and blend well. Keep aside.
3. Heat 3 teaspoons oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon nigella seeds, 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds,
1 dry red chili and saute for 3 - 5 minutes or till it turns golden brown in color.
4. Now pour this tempering over the boiled potatoes, add the blended mixture, 2 teaspoons yogurt, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and mix it well.
5. Now put it in steamer and steam them for 15 minutes.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
7. Serve.
