(For Boondi)
Gram flour - 300 grams
Rice flour - 15 grams
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Black salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Organic food color - 1/8 teaspoon
Jivo oil - 10 milliliters
Water - 450 milliliters
Jivo oil - for frying
(For Boondi Chaat)
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Black salt - 1 teaspoon
Onions - 80 grams
Tomato - 100 grams
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Coriander - 10 grams
Sev - for garnishing
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
(For Boondi)
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix it well to make a thick batter.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet, take small holes perforated spoon and pour the prepared batter on it.
3. Slowly tap with the help of spoon, so the drop of batter fall into oil.
4. Fry till golden brown and crispy. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
(For Boondi Chaat)
1. Add the fried boondi in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon black salt and mix it well.
2. In a another bowl, add 80 grams onions, 100 grams tomato, 1 tablespoon green chili, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and mix it well.
3. Then, add the fried boondi mixture, 10 grams coriander and mix it well.
4. Garnish with sev and coriander.
5. Serve.
