For Stuffing
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger paste - 1/2 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 15 - 20
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/8 teaspoon
Boiled potatoes - 180 grams
Green peas - 50 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 1 teaspoon
For Batter
Gram flour - 80 grams
Rice flour - 2 tablespoons
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/8 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoons
Water

PREPARATION
1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a heavy skillet, add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste, 1 teaspoon green chili, 15 - 20 curry leaves and saute until it begins to smell good.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/8 teaspoon turmeric and stir.
3. Add 180 grams boiled potatoes, 50 grams green peas, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix well.
4. Mash the mixture very well, add 1 teaspoon coriander and mix well. Cool this.
For Batter
1. In a mixing bowl, add 80 grams gram flour, 2 tablespoons rice flour, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/8 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds and mix well.
2. Add water just as needed and make a thick batter.
Rest Of The Preparation
1. Place the bread slices and then spread the potato masala.
2. Cover with another slice of bread. Cut them diagonally.
3. Dip the stuffed bread in batter. Make sure it is coated on the sides as well. Gently swipe the excess batter.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry until golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot with green chutney.
