 Cheese Corn Bread Pakoda

INGREDIENTS

Sweet corn - 80 grams

Cheese - 160 grams

Chilli flakes - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Oregano - 1 teaspoon

Gram flour - 200 grams

Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 300 milliliters

Bread slices

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 80 grams sweet corn, 160 grams cheese, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon oregano and mix well to combine.

2. In a another mixing bowl, add 200 grams gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 300 milliliters water and whisk well to make a batter.

3. Take a bread slice and put the sweet corn on it and cover it with a another slice of bread.

4. Cut it into half and dip it into the gram flour batter.

5. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry until golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

6. Serve hot.
