INGREDIENTS

Chaat masala - 2 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Black salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Butter - 2 tablespoons

All purpose flour - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Milk - 300 milliliters

Salt - 1/8 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon

Cheddar cheese - 100 grams

All purpose flour - 120 grams

Rice flour - 2 tablespoons

Curd - 100 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Water - 250 milliliters

Potato - 530 grams

Oil - for frying

Coriander - for garnishing

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a small bowl, add 2 teaspoons chaat masala, 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin powder, 1 teaspoon paprika and 1/2 teaspoon black salt.
  2. Mix all the spices well. Keep aside.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a pan, add 1 1/2 teaspoons all purpose flour and mix it well.
  4. Now, add 300 milliliters milk and mix again.
  5. Then, add 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper and mix well.
  6. Add 100 grams cheddar cheese and mix continuously until dissolved.
  7. Keep aside.
  8. In a dish, add 120 grams all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons rice flour, 100 grams curd, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon paprika and mix it well.
  9. Now, add 250 milliliters water and mix again.
  10. Pin 580 grams potato in a skewer and slice a spiral cut around the sides.
  11. Stretch potato to expose the cuts.
  12. Now, coat it with prepared flour mixture from all the sides well.
  13. Heat oil in a pan, add the coated potato and fry until turns golden brown.
  14. Add the cheese tornado potato in a serving dish.
  15. Sprinkle the spices mixture on it.
  16. Now add the prepared cheese on it.
  17. Garnish it with coriander.
  18. Serve hot with tomato sauce or any dip of your choice.
