Cheesy Pakoda

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour - 250 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon

Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon

Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoon

Dry fenugreek leaves - 1 tablespoon

Water - 350 milliliters

Mozzarella cheese blocks

Italian seasoning

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams gram flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red child powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds, 1 tablespoon dry fenugreek leaves and mix well.

2. Add 350 milliliters water and whisk well to make a batter.

3. Take a mozzarella cheese block and cut it into two pieces.

4. Sprinkle some Italian seasoning and cover it with a another slice of mozzarella cheese.

5. Now dip the mozzarella cheese blocks into the batter.

6. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet. Deep fry until crispy and golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

7. Serve hot with ketchup.
