Chicken Milanese Tenders

INGREDIENTS

U.S. chicken breast - 550 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

All purpose flour - 150 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Corn flour - 2 tablespoons

Eggs - 2

Bread crumbs - 200 grams

Parmesan Cheese - 60 grams

Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon

Dried thyme - 1/4 teaspoon

Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION

  1. Take 550 grams u.s. chicken breast and cut it into strips.
  2. Transfer this into a bowl, add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
  3. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, add 150 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 2 tablespoons corn flour and mix it well. Keep aside.
  5. In a another bowl, add 2 eggs and beat them well. Keep aside.
  6. In a another bowl, add 200 grams bread crumbs, 60 grams parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme and mix it well. Keep aside.
  7. Take the marinated chicken strips and roll it in all purpose flour mixture.
  8. Then, dip it in the egg mixture and roll it in bread crumbs mixture properly.
  9. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
  11. Serve hot.
