Crispy Chicken Sandwich


Servings - 2


Chicken breast - 160 grams

Salt - to taste

Black pepper - to taste

All purpose flour - 80 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Beaten eggs - for coating

Bread crumbs - for coating

Oil - for frying

Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Tonkatsu sauce - 2 tablespoons

Roasted garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Butter - for toasting & brushing

Bread slices - 4

Tomato slices - to taste

Cucumber slices - to taste

Lettuce - to taste



  1. Take a chicken breast cut it into half.
  2. Sprinkle some salt and black pepper on both sides. Keep aside.
  3. In a dish, add 80 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili and mix it well.
  4. Take the chicken breast and coat it with all purpose flour mixture properly.
  5. Dip it in the egg mixture and then coat it with bred crumbs properly.
  6. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry this until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  8. In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons tonkatsu sauce, 1 tablespoon roasted garlic paste and mix it well. Keep aside.
  9. Heat some butter on a tawa, place a bread slice on it.
  10. Brush it with butter.
  11. Toast it from both sides until golden brown.
  12. Remove it from heat and place it on a board.
  13. Add the prepared sauce on it and spread it evenly.
  14. Then, add some tomato slices and cucumber slice on it.
  15. Place the fried chicken breast on top of it.
  16. Add some prepared sauce on it and spread it evenly.
  17. Top with lettuce.
  18. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  19. Cut it into half.
  20. Serve.
