Crispy Fish Tacos

INGREDIENTS

(For Fish)

Cornmeal - 50 grams

Corm starch - 30 grams

All purpose flour - 75 grams

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Baking soda - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Light beer - 220 milliliters

Egg wash - 1

White fish - 750 grams

All purpose flour - for coating

Oil - for frying

(For Jalapeno Sauce)

Coriander - 20 grams

Jalapeno - 30 grams

Avocado - 70 grams

Spring onions - 50 grams

Yogurt - 95 grams

Oil - 60 milliliters

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

(Rest of the Ingredients)

Tortillas

Crumbled paneer

Coriander

PREPARATION

(For Fish)

1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except all purpose flour and mix all the ingredients well.

2. Take a fish piece and roll it in all purpose flour.

3. Then dip it in cornmeal mixture.

4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy. Drain it on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.

(For Jalapeno Sauce)

1. In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend it into a smooth paste. Transfer this into a bowl and keep side.

(Assembling The Taco)

1. Take a tortilla, place the fried fish piece on it.

2. Top with crumbled paneer and coriander.

3. Spread the prepared jalapeño sauce on top of it.

4. Serve.
