Crispy Honey Chilli Potatoes

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 800 grams
Cold water
Water - 1.5 litres
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
All purpose flour - 100 grams
Corn flour - 20 grams
All purpose flour - 80 grams
Corn flour - 2 tablespoons
Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
Water - 120 milliliters
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Spring onions - 35 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Ketchup - 30 grams
Red chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
Water - 150 milliliters
Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
Water - 30 milliliters
Honey - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Spring onions - 1 1/2 tablespoons

PREPARATION


1. Take 800 grams potatoes and cut it into french fries. (See Video)
2. In a bowl, add some cold water, add the prepared french fries and soak for 8 - 10 minutes.
3. Wash it properly and remove it from water. Keep aside.
4. Take a heavy skillet, add 1.5 litres water, 1/4 teaspoon salt, soaked french fries and mix it well.
5. Bring it to a boil. Boil for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
6. Remove it from water and transfer this into a bowl.
7. Add 100 grams all purpose flour, 20 grams corn flour and mix it well. Keep aside.
8. In a mixing bowl, add 80 grams all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons corn flour, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
9. Add 120 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
10. Add the prepared fries in it and mix it well.
11. Now, take a philips airfryer and add the prepared fries in it. (See Video)
12. Set the temperature to 180°C and air fry for 15 - 18 minutes.
13. Remove it from airfryer and keep aside.
14. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet, add 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon ginger and stir for 1 - 2 minutes.
15. Then, add 35 grams spring onions and mix it well.
16. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
17. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
18. Add 30 grams ketchup, 1 tablespoon red chili sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and mix it well.
19. Now, add 150 milliliters water and mix it again.
20. Bring it to a boil.
21. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 30 milliliters water and mix it well.
22. Pour the batter into the skillet and mix it well.
23. Now, add the french fries in it and mix it well.
24. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
25. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons honey and mix it well.
26. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons spring onions and mix it again.
27. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
28. Remove it from heat.
29. Garnish with spring onions.
30. Serve hot.
