INGREDIENTS

Ginger - 1 tablespoon

Green chili - 1 tablespoon

Boiled mashed potatoes - 400 grams

Hung curd - 150 grams

Semolina - 50 grams

Bread crumbs - 30 grams

Rice flour - 30 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Dry mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander - 1 tablespoon

Oil - for frying

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. Take a mortar ,add 1 tablespoon chopped ginger, 1 tablespoon green chili and crush it with pestle until properly mashed.
  2. In a bowl, add 400 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 150 grams hung curd, 50 grams semolina, 30 grams bread crumbs, 30 grams rice flour, prepared ginger chili paste, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 dry mango powder , 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder and 1 tablespoon chopped coriander.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well with spatula and knead with hands to make a dough.
  4. Now take a dough on the flat surface and roll it by using hands to make it elongate shape.
  5. Then, slightly flatten it with hands.
  6. Cut it into 3 centimetres wide pieces with the help of sharp knife .
  7. Take a fork and press it on the cut pieces to make lines.
  8. Now, in a heated oil, deep fry the crackers until brown and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with ketchup.
