Homemade Atta Biscuits

INGREDIENTS
Ghee - 125 milliliters
Granulated sugar - 80 grams
Milk - 50 milliliters
Wheat flour - 200 grams
Cardamom - 1/2 teaspoon
Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 125 milliliters ghee, 80 grams granulated sugar, 50 milliliters milk and whisk together till well combined.
2. In another mixing bowl, add 200 grams wheat flour, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon salt and mix well.
3. Add the ghee mixture in it and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
4. Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes.
5. Using a rolling pin roll it evenly.
6. Use a cookie cutter cut the cookies.
7. To make design you can use a fork.
8. Place the biscuits on a baking tray.
9. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or till the biscuits are lightly golden brown in color.
10. Cool on wire rack and then store biscuits in an airtight container.
11. Serve with chai.
