Grated bottle gourd - 450 grams
Grated potatoes - 200 grams
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon stick - 2 inch
Star anise - 1
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
Cloves - 5 - 6
Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
Dry red chili - 5
Green cardamom - 4
Cashew nuts - 6
Split chickpeas - 2 tablespoons
Coriander - 3 tablespoons
Green chili - 4
Ginger - 2 tablespoons
Curry leaves - 10
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Grated paneer - 80 grams
Bread crumbs
Oil
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, place a cloth on top of it. Add 450 grams grated bottle grout, 200 grams grated potatoes and squeeze them well.
2. Transfer this into a steamer and steam for 15 minutes. Keep aside.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon cumin, 2 inch cinnamon stick, 1 star anise, 1/2 tablespoon coriander seeds, 5 - 6 cloves, 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, 5 dry red chili, 4
cardamom, 6 cashew nuts, 2 tablespoon split chickpeas and roast them for 5 - 7 minutes.
4. Transfer this mixture into a bowl, add 3 tablespoons coriander, 4 green chili, 2 tablespoons ginger, 10 curry leaves, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder, 1 teaspoon
salt and transfer this mixture into blender and blend well.
5. In a another mixing bowl, add the steamed bottle gourd and potatoes, 80 grams grated paneer and the blended mixture in it.
6. Mix all the ingredients well.
7. Take some mixture in your hand and make a round patty shape.
8. Roll them in bread crumbs.
9. Place them on baking tray and put some oil on top of it.
10. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160°C. Bake for 12 minutes.
11. Remove it from oven and flip them.
12. Bake them again on same temperature.
13. Serve hot with ketchup.
