Masala Bread

INGREDIENTS

Bread loaf - 1

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Onions - 82 grams

Tomato - 170 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 110 milliliters

Dried fenugreek leaves - 1/4 teaspoon

Coriander - for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. Take a bread loaf and cut it into small cubes. Keep aside.

2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy pot, add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon green chili and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.

3. Add 82 grams onions and fry till translucent.

4. Then, add 170 grams tomato and saute till it turns soft and pulpy.

5. Now, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.

6. Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.

7. Add 110 milliliters water and stir well.

8. Bring it to a boil.

9. Now, add the chopped bread cubes in it and mix it well.

10. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.

11. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves and mix it well.

12. Garnish with coriander.

13. Serve.
