Mumbai Style Aloo Burger

INGREDIENTS

Oil - 15 milliliters
Green chili - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Onions - 50 grams
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Bell pepper - 50 grams
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Boiled mashed potatoes - 450 grams
Bread crumbs - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
Sev - for coating
Oil - for shallow frying
Burger buns
Green chutney - to taste
Lettuce - to taste
Cheese slices - to taste
Onion slices - to taste
Tomato slices - to taste
Sev - to taste
Tandoori mayonnaise - to taste
PREPARATION
1. Heat 15 milliliters oil in a pan, add 1 1/2 teaspoons green chili and stir well.
2. Then, add 50 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
3. Add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
4. Now, add 50 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
5. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
6. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.
7. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
8. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
9. In a mixing bowl, add 450 grams boiled mashed potatoes, sauted veggies, 2 tablespoons bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
10. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a tikki.
11. Coat the sides with sev properly.
12. Heat some oil in a pan, add the prepared tikki in it.
13. Cook until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.
14. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
15. Take a flat pan, place a burger bun on it.
16. Heat for 1 - 2 minutes.
17. Remove it from heat and place it on a board.
18. Add some green chutney on it and spread it evenly.
19. Place the lettuce on it.
20. Add a cheese slice, onion slices, tomato slices on top of it.
21. Place the prepared tikki on it.
22. Garnish with sev.
23. Add some tandoori mayonnaise on it.
24. Garnish some more sev on it.
25. Cover it with another bun.
26. Serve hot.
