Peri Peri Paneer Canapes

INGREDIENTS

Red chili - 2 teaspoons

Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon

Ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Black salt - 1 teaspoon

Powdered sugar - 1 teaspoon

Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Oregano - 1 teaspoon

Oil - 1 tablespoon

Paneer - 200 grams

Prepared peri peri masala - 2 teaspoons

Canapes

Oil - for frying

Bell pepper - 70 grams

Onions - 80 grams

Lettuce - 30 grams

Lemon juice - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Coriander - 3 tablespoons

Peri peri sauce - 30 grams

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a bowl, add 2 teaspoons red chili, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder, 1 teaspoon black salt, 1 teaspoon powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon oregano and mix it well.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add 200 grams paneer, 2 teaspoons prepared peri peri masala and mix it well.
  3. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet, add 5 - 6 canapés and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
  7. In a mixing bowl, add the cooked paneer, 70 grams bell pepper, 80 grams onions, 30 grams lettuce, 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice, 3 tablespoons coriander, 30 grams peri peri sauce and mix it well.
  8. Take the fried canapés and fill it with prepared mixture.
  9. Garnish with grated paneer.
  10. Serve.
