Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Black salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Powdered sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
Flattened rice - 230 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Lemon juice - 15 milliliters
Oil - 30 milliliters
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 7 - 8
Green chili - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Onions - 120 grams
Potatoes - 150 grams
Sweet corn - 50 grams
Green peas - 50 grams
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon black salt, 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon ginger
powder, 1/2 teaspoon oregano and mix it well.
2. In a another bowl, add 230 grams flattened rice, 500 milliliters water and wash & drain the flattened rice properly.
3. Then, add 15 milliliters lemon juice and mix it well.
4. Rest for 10 - 12 minutes.
5. Heat 30 milliliters oil in a skillet, add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 7 - 8 curry leaves and stir well.
6. Now, add 1 1/2 teaspoons green chili, 120 grams onions and fry till translucent.
7. Add 150 grams potatoes and mix it well.
8. Cover it with lid and cook for 6 - 8 minutes on medium heat.
9. Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
10. Then, add 50 grams sweet corn, 50 grams green peas and mix it well.
11. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and mix it again.
12. Again cover it with lid and cook for about 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
13. Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
14. Add the prepared peri peri masala, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
15. Now, add the flattened rice and mix it again.
16. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
17. Add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
18. Remove it from heat.
19. Garnish with coriander.
20. Serve.
