Pocket Potato Bites

INGREDIENTS
Salt - 2 teaspoons

Red chili - 2 teaspoons

Garlic powder - 2 teaspoons

Cumin powder -  2 teaspoons

Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons

Coriander - 2 teaspoons

Lemon juice - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Gram flour - 140 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Water - 200 milliliters

Boiled potatoes - 430 grams

Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a bowl, add 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons red chili, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons cumin powder, 2 teaspoons coriander powder, 2 teaspoons coriander, 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice and mix it well. Keep aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 140 grams gram flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and mix it well.
  3. Add 200 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter. Keep aside.
  4. Take 430 grams boiled potatoes and cut it into pieces.
  5. Then, take the piece and add the prepared mixture on it and spread it evenly.
  6. Place the another piece on top of it.
  7. Now, dip it in the prepared batter and coat it completely.
  8. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
  10. Serve hot.
