Soya Dumplings in Tomato Sauce

INGREDIENTS
Soya granules - 175 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Bread slices - 90 grams
Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic paste - 2 teaspoons
Oil - for frying
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Carom seeds - 1 teaspoon
Tomato puree - 240 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 175 grams soya granules, 500 milliliters water and soak for 30 minutes.
2. Transfer this into a blender, add 90 grams bread slices, 2 tablespoons vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder, 2 teaspoons garlic paste and blend well.
3. Transfer this mixture into a bowl.
4. Take some mixture in your hand make a lemon sized ball of it.
5. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.
6. Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
7. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon carom seeds and stir well.
8. Add 240 grams tomato puree and saute for 3 - 5 minutes or till the gravy thickens.
9. Then, add 1 teaspoons alt, 1 teaspoon powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon red chili and mix it well.
10. Now, add the fried soya in it and mix it well.
11. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes.
12. Garnish with coriander.
13. Serve hot.
