Soya Keema Idli

INGREDIENTS

Soya granules - 20 grams

Hot water - 200 milliliters

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Oil - 2 teaspoons

Onion - 50 grams

Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

Tomato - 50 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon

Green peas boiled - 20 grams

MTR rava idli mix - 180 grams

Yogurt - 120 grams

Yogurt - 240 grams

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 20 grams soya granules, 200 grams hot water and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix well.
  2. Keep aside and soak for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan , add 50 grams onion and sauté for a minute.
  4. Now, add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste. Stir well.
  5. Now, add 50 grams tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Now add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and mix .
  7. Then, add 20 grams boiled green beans, soaked soya granules and mix well.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add 1/4 Garama masala and mix well.
  10. Cook for more 10 minutes on low heat.
  11. Remove the pan from heat.
  12. In a mixing bowl, add 180 grams MTR rava idli mix , 1/2 cup yogurt and mix well.
  13. Rest the batter for 1 minute.
  14. Now add 240 grams yogurt and again mix well.
  15. Rest the batter for more 2 minutes.
  16. Now, add the prepared soya granules mixture in it and stir well with the help of spatula.
  17. Take a spoonful of batter and pour into well greased idli moulds. Now transfer the idli moulds into wok filled with sufficient water.
  18. Cover the lid and steam for 10-12minutes.
  19. Open the lid and take out the idli moulds.
  20. Allow the prepared idli’s to cool for 3-5 minutes.
  21. Now demould them and serve
