Soya Vermicelli Balls

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS

Soya granules - 100 grams

Boiled potatoes - 150 grams

Onions - 50 grams

Green chili - 1 tablespoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Chaat masala - 1 tablespoon

Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Refined flour paste - for dipping

Dry vermicelli - for dipping

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams soya granules, 150 grams boiled potatoes, 50 grams onions, 1 tablespoon green chili, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon chaat masala and 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder. Mix all the ingredients well.

2. Shape the mixture into lemon sized balls.

3. Dip balls in refined flour paste and then roll them in dry vermicelli.

4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet. Add the coated balls to hot oil and deep fry till goden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

5. Serve with ketchup.
